High School Updates
* CASC 10th and 11th graders will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 10th at site locations across the state. Please email Mikayla Roper at mroper@cyberacademysc.org with any questions related to your testing site location.

*SCCANGO College Goal Day ​(or FAFSA Completion Assistance) will take place in November.  More info will be coming in the coming weeks.
Link will be available in your class connect schedule.​ Please have the following items:​  parent and student social security numbers, parent and student FSAID information, and 2017 tax information.
                                                   
*SCCANGO College Application Day- Tuesday, October 17th from 10 a.m. - 1p.m. (Admission counselors and and CASC Counselors will be on hand to help you with applying to college(s) of your choice. Link will be available in your class connect schedule. Go to http://sccango.org/college-application-month and see which schools you are interested in applying and start the application. (do not submit until the 17th)

*FREE SAT TEST TAKING STRATEGIES WORKSHOP​​ for ​​7th – 12th grade students on Saturday, October 27th from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the University Center of Greenville in the Auditorium located in McAlister Square (225 S. Pleasantburg Drive) Greenville. ​​ ​​ To register for the workshop, please click on the link below by Friday, October 12th. Registration will be capped at 90 students and lunch will be provided. There will be no onsite registration.​​ ​​ ​​

*ACT College and Career Readiness Champions- The ACT College and Career Readiness Champions are individuals across the country who support ACT’s mission of education and workplace success- High School Seniors, K-12 professionals, Post-Secondary Professionals and Workforce Professionals. ACT State Councils serve as the selection committee and select one Champion per category for each participating state. ACT Champions receive individual certificates. In addition, Student Champions receive a $500 non-renewable scholarship.
Applications can be found www.act.org/readinesschampions. Applications are due October 31, 2018, and champions will be notified on or before January 31, 2019.
